Great read!
What I great read. Really helps those of us who have not been there under stand what these
men & women go through. How the love and companionship of a dog can make home not that
far away. enjoyed the photo's too.
I am the proud owner of two of these dogs and this book captured the love and joy these dogs not only provide to our soldiers but why the bond between man and dog is so profound. I can't save all dogs but I changed the world for two. This book captures all the emotions....
Wonderful story of a soldier, his dog, and how they became inseparable. Good description of the dogs voyage to the United States and the wonderful help given by Puppy Rescue Mission, an organization founded to bring these dogs home with their soldiers. Loved it!
Awesome book! I'm a volunteer with Puppy Rescue Mission and just love what we do. It let's me give a little thanks to our military members by being able to help rescue a dog. I have an Afghan Kuchi and she is an amazing dog. Thank you for giving us an insight to what really goes on over there. You may not follow all of the military terms and abbreviations. I encountered this book as a supporter of the Puppy Rescue Mission. This book only makes my commitment to them even stronger.
The Puppy Resque Mission does very valuable wonderful work for these dogs in peril. I took off one star because I can't understand why someone would leave an exit large enough in their vehicle that their dog could jump out of.
